StartLogic has three main packages: PersonalLogic, ProLogic, and VPSLogic. The customer gets seven freebies with all of the plans: a basic plan with submitnet, 2GB with Carbonite, credits with Yahoo and Google, a free installation of Coppermine, Gallery2, WordPress, and Joomla. The Google Webmaster tools come with all of the plans. The knowledgebase has all of the expected information topics listed. The faqs has eight topics. The additional resources offers downloads, links, and tips and tricks. All of this information looks like its very useful. As with other good webhosting companies that offer a full range of help resources for their customers, StartLogic offers a good range of tutorials such as account management, e-mail and e-commerce, reseller programs, scripting and other subjects. There is a tutorial to teach a reseller how to use custom formatting. There is also an affiliate and a referral program.
Host Search rates StartLogic at 1.81 out of a four-point scale. The customer’s reviews reveal poor customer service, problems with refunds, poor security, can’t get domain transferred, and problems with e-mail. Some of the customer reviewers said they never had any problems. You can find many good reviews of StartLogic at hstartlogicreviews.net/. At Reviewz.com there is a review that praises StartLogic as the best host the reviewer has ever had and he says he has tried quite a few other webhosting companies.
StartLogic has received awards from Hosting Review and they were a Reader’s Choice winner. They have a 30-day money back guarantee, but it doesn’t apply to setup or domain fees, reseller and virtual accounts, professional services, overages or dedicated servers. Before you get an account you may want to ask just what the 30-day refund does apply to so you will know. Of course, many companies have disclaimers concerning their refund policy. They offer a toll free number and live chat. StartLogic has three SEO plans: the Starter, Business, and Enterprise plan. Even with the minimal plan the SEO team uses eight strategies to optimized your site for the search engines and it gets more involved from there. The basic plan also includes: statistics, consultation, ranking score, and final report.
The overall marketing services offer: SEO, e-mail marketing, reputation management, search engine marketing, logo design, and some other options. Their e-commerce services are on the money with: credit card processing, shopping carts, SSL certificates, and some other services. StartLogic has a web concierge service too. They have a host of scripting and site add-ons. In domain service they offer: management, consolidation, privacy, new domains, transfers, and automated renewals. They state on their home page that more than 100,000 clients trust them.
Overall this company seems to have an easy to navigate site, a lot of good information to help their clients, a fair amount of marketing help, and some pretty good free booty for all clients. They have their share of good and bad reviews. As with all companies look at customer reviews for yourself and evaluate StartLogic’s plans against their competitors. Then make an informed decision.

Issues are slow to be resolved. Occasional outages (of email and website) last anywhere from a few hours to a few days.
Poor communication. Does not return calls at all, does not return emails in a timely manner.
Price goes up about 50% after your first years’ introductory rate.
Billing department has charged me twice (on two different websites) after I have asked them to cancel or suspend my account. (They eventually refunded my money, but it took quite a bit of effort to persuade them to process the refund.)
